IT Systems Application Developer - (Portage) in Kalamazoo, Michigan For Sale

This is a technical position responsible for development programming, and maintenance or modification programming based on the business principles. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The IT Systems Application Developer is responsible for developing, programming and implementing software solutions based on detailed statements of work developed cross functionally within Summit. Under general supervision is responsible for the following major tasks: Cross functional participation in the statement of work development process Evaluation of existing software tools with clients to identify potential feature enhancements Programming complex applications based on job specification Development of user documentation of systems/applications Testing the systems/applications, prior to releasing in production Continuous learning of new programming techniques and technology including interdepartmental development Support network applications and assist with network troubleshooting and support for users within the company working with others in the department on standard processes. Other duties as assigned. Bachelors Degree and a minimum of five years experience in programming business applications, or equivalent experience Experience working on a software development team, preferably working in an Agile development process Experience developing or working with the Microsoft web development stack (ASP.NET/MVC, SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#) Experience developing applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures and triggers Experience working with front end web development frameworks a plus (Angular, React, CSS frameworks, etc.) Experience developing applications utilizing C#, HTML,PHP JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Experience working with version control systems (SVN, Git, etc.). Experience building deployment processes a plus Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SQL Server Integration Services a plus Experience with Telerik a plus UNIX knowledge a plus IBMi knowledge a plus Sharepoint knowledge a plus Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices as demonstrated by a minimum score of 26 on the Wonderlic Personnel Test Agreement to complete all post-hire required training
